Seedsmiths - Make * Learn * Grow

Here we go! This is the beginning!

Today we started our call out for teachers on our brand new website.

This is a collaboration between Naomi Fenton and myself. We plan to do big...wait.. MASSIVE things that will enrich the North West Coast of Tasmania.

We have begun our journey to create our very own school. In our region we have been abandoned by organisations that manage short courses aimed at adults. People are crying out for instruction, socailisation, community building and learning. We want to fill the void in adult education. We want to flood it with arts, culture, home improvement...well... anything really! If we can find teachers, those that know their stuff, those who are passionate about their knowledge then we want to share it with the community.

This has to be a win/win ...right?

I am about to whore out our details - please follow along, grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride.

At the very least, if you live on the North West Coast of Tasmania you will want to follow along and grab one of our short courses.

I cant wait - this is going to be pretty cool.

The following is from our website...

We are a grassroots educational program located in the North West of Tasmania. Our philosophy is empowering the community through education, skills and knowledge.
Community knowledge, sharing and growth creates invaluable connections and strengthens a regional area disadvantaged by location.

Our organisation provides the framework for teachers and innovators to share their knowledge and skills with the local community.

Let us deal with the administration while you get on with the teaching.

We seek out educators to offer a range of programs. We support those educators by offering venues, advertising, branding, marketing and administration duties.

We use our framework to find the students to complete your course. We are offering a new network that will replace the now defunct adult educational system...but cooler.

Our programs will be of a quality content with local educators who know their subjects. Our educators do not need formal qualifications but must display sound knowledge in their subject area.

We are looking for the best of the best who will share their knowledge in a way that empowers a community.
