Last year ( I can totally say that now - Happy New Year peeps) I made a few things for the December Made With Love market. I didn't get time to blog about them with the crazy rush of Christmas, New Year and then a surprise caravaning trip.
I managed to get two Kimono style garments made. Both feature beautiful vintage fabrics with vintage embellishments. The top Kimono is so lovely, floaty and soft and the bottom Kimono is made from a heavier fabric with original tassels.
The bottom picture is of a scarf I made. It features two hand printed panels of some lino cuts that I made a while ago. One panel is of a dragonfly and the other on the opposite end is the swallow design. It is long and I can guarantee that another one like this will never be made.
Last year was a great year for me. It was drama free, I got a really awesome job and opportunity and I bought my beautiful baby into the world. I didn't get to blog as much and I wont even promise to try harder this year. I am going to take it as it comes.
I feel we can always plan a path to take in a new year but at the end of the day we have no control over our future. It will be what it will be no matter how hard we try to fight it. You can make all the plans you want, it doesn't mean life will go that way. A lesson I learned the hard way last year.
Lastly I am very close to giving away a Graeme Doll over on my Facebook page. Please feel free to get in the running - just like the page and share the photo over THERE
