After a long wait I can finally announce that in Septemeber we are expecting our second baby.
With my husbands illness a couple of years ago I wasn't sure we were ever going to be able to share this wonderful news again.
I am pleased to report I have been feeling a whole lot better than the first/last pregnancy, I haven't even experienced morning sickness this time round. The last pregnancy saw me so ill that I had to give up work a lot earlier than I had wanted so I am super thrilled that till this point I have been able to carry on my new job with only the side effect of extreme tiredness (which I hear is also a symptom of your first year of teaching anyway). I am hoping to work till the end of the second school term and fingers crossed I some how manage to keep this job that I am so very much enjoying.
I may have mentioned that I have a gall bladder that has been causing me pain and needs to come out. Unfortunately I will have to wait till the pregnancy is over before I can receive the surgery. What does this mean? This means that the only indulgence a pregnant lady can have (fats, cheese, ice cream, chocolate, anything really) are completely off limits to me unless I want to risk another attack. You can imagine my frustration. I feel that I may just be the only pregnant person to lose weight. However as long as I pay attention to what I eat I should be fine, but still i feel like this just may be the longest prenancy in the history of man (or woman if you so please).
This news may also explain my lack of enthusiasm (or extra energy) to post on here. Hopefully I get through this first trimester of tiredness and start to make things in preparation for the new bundle of joy which I can share with you all.
So thankyou for reading and sharing in our lovely news. I will be seeing you about soon x
