Home Coming

She was found in the bush....

She was pulled from the trees and possums...

A trailer was hired - she didn't fit. A week later a tow truck was hired. I was so grateful that someone else now had responsibility for her safety ... she was in a worse condition than I suspected...the men scoffed at a silly woman's stupidity and future hard work.

After the fear of losing her in little parts down the highway was over (It was perhaps the scariest and gut wrenching experience to follow her home) she was backed up into my driveway and a spot was found for her to sit.

She now sits outside my house waiting for the makeover to begin. My husband is suitably not impressed - but she is my project - even if it takes me years to do.

Fears - that she may be too far gone to bring her back.
Suggestions for others - Defiantly hire a tow truck company - it is worth every penny to have someone else take responsibility for its travel and safety.

The search may be over but now the real fun begins.....
