Thrifty Foot Stool Make Over

Yesterday I went to lunch at my favorite local cafe owned by my friend (and ex-class mate). Bruce's is just outside of town on the scenic highway and has been completely gutted and reno-ed by her and her partner to give Wynyard a much needed funky cafe with amazing coffee and gorgeous taste in style.
I heart it very much.
I also have permanent art work hanging in there that was commissioned by Lisa - Bruce's was the first (and only) child friendly cafe in town - and holds regular exhibitions for the locals - mostly by the locals. . . It's a very special little venture and very popular amongst the locals.

So whilst being a lady of leisure and lunching on a Friday I noticed Lisa was selling her coffee bags for $5 - I bought two but only used one. I came home and covered my thrifted stools with them..pretty sure that for a total spend of $10, for each stool at the most, in materials I ended up with two new amazing pieces for the house...not bad huh! Time wise it took a total of about half an hour to cover. No complaints here from me. . . Win - Win as far I was concerned. . . lunch with a side of inspiration.
