Liebster Award

This week i received my first blog "award". I am very honored to receive this award from beautiful Misfits Vintage.
I must admit i hadn't heard of this award before so i had to do some research. Not speaking German myself it is suggested that the words are a derivative of the German word to love? Liebe as in ‘Ich liebe dich??’
This award is given to blogs by other bloggers who have fewer than 300 followers and who the blogger feels deserves a lot more recognition and following than what they currently get. Once you receive/accept the award the idea is to pass it on to other bloggers who you feel are also lacking in the recognition they deserve. Further history on the award is next to impossible to find and frustrates me greatly.

So to pass it on i am nominating the following blogs (I am keeping a Tasmanian theme here):
  • My friend Naomi at Hsawaknow that has lovely pictures and a very small blog following. She deserves more.
  • My friend Sarah at Turning Trixie who is a cleaver cookie, very funny read and relatively new to blogging
  • My friend Claire at Baby Boudoir  who is influenced by her English heritage and i would dearly love her to blog more. Especially since she is the one that INSISTED that i start blogging.
  • And lastly my extremely clever arty friend Rory at samedog. His blog is sooo pretty and his art is really cute.
Yay go Tasmanians!! Wooo for clever people.
Thankyou again to all my readers. I appreciate all your comments on what is essentially my online journal. I understand that not everyone wants to hear about my sewing all the time and i feel honored for you sticking by me in my first year of blogging. It is so amazing when members of my community come up to me and say that they have read my blog, but quite horrible at the same time, i forget that this really is an open source document. I really do blog only for myself and anyone else that wants to come along for the ride i am happy to take you there (where? who knows).
Mxoxo
