Colour Inspiration

(P.S. This is my temporary mood board of pictures to get me in the mood for a fantastic painting session.)
I did it. Who knew my little neglected art studio could hold so much crap. On the weekend i got in there and cleaned it out. I now have a huge pile of stuff about to go on the back of a ute to the tip. This includes a lot of my lame high school and collage art works. They have to go, other wise i am pretty sure i will end up one of those dead cat ladies that gets killed by her own crap falling in on her and burying her alive.  I've said it before and i will say it again. There is no need to keep all this shhhiii...crap. I have that terrible habit of going out and buying new for a new project anyway. One must not live in fear of regret, and this includes throwing out anything.

The reasong for the studios neglected state is that sewing has taken over my life. I have a plan to join the two together. With the aid of a new sliding door i can  open up the studio a little and put my sewing crap with my painting crap. Ahhhh all the crap together, just as it should be.

Recently i have sold a couple of works and it has given me inspiration to get back on the art "horse" as it were. I also have been contacted about doing another set of works for a new cafe opening in Burnie very soon. The only information i know is that it could involve "red" and it should be similar to the one i created for Bruces Cafe.

I did stumble across a can of red paint, never opened, that i must have bought for something, and i primed a couple of large canvases. The colour inspiration will come from there. (and here). They will obviously be  be based around my retro love and i cant wait to get the brushes and spray cans out again. Might even cut me some new stencils. Go team art/sewing. I know it can work.
