First Made with LOVE Market Bazaar

Our first market was a HUGE success. We had a fab day. Its didn't start raining till right at the very end and we had a great turn out of buyers. There was a constant stream of people floating in looking all LOVED up.

People were saying lovely things like, "well done" ,"we need this" and "congratulations". There was so obviously a need for this in our community and i am truly grateful for all those that got involved. The Stitchy girls all helped out so much in making this a huge success. They popped flyers everywhere, arranged newspaper articles and walked the pavement alerting locals. I  have never had so many  participants throwing themselves into a project and actually getting their hands dirty with work. It makes organising so much easier when everyone does their little bit. Without these amazing ladies and their products the market would not have been what it was.

Our next market is in a fortnight and we already have a full house of stall holders and only outside ones left for new comers. On the day we also had enquirers for four or five new stall holders. I think this might actually become a mammoth event. Next year we plan on only holding them once a month so as to not burn our creators out.

So now to the pictures......

Part of my stall......

Sneaking a look in the gallery

Our vintage "Green room" full of second hand goodies and clothes and the answer to my hoarding obsession. Not recommended as part of a Oc health and safety induction....the rigging was slightly fragile but survived the day...phew.

Jac's funky paper mache jewelry

Lisa's cool crochet and sewn stuff...

I did miss pictures of some of the stalls in the lovely gallery space full of home made goodness and creative ladies.

Oh yeah....we had some champers to celebrate our terrific girls are truly special xoxoox

So if your in the Wynyard area in a fortnight (11th of December) please pop into our market, even if you have already been. We have some new stall holders coming and it will be the last opportunity before Christmas to stock up on the LOVE.
