Stitch'n'Bitch Pt 1

So obviously the Stitch n Bitch Weekend post is too big for one so i thought i would space them out over two ... I only took a little stuff (SARCASM FONT)...what a pile! How embarrassment (Said in the style of Kylie Mole). The worst thing is that there was already stuff packed in the car when i took this photo.

We headed up to camp on Friday afternoon and made a quick stop to Spotty with Claire (who was sick but forced herself to come anyway...that's hard core sewing). We set up in the gym space and soon froze our arses off and most of the group made the move into the smaller dinning area. It was squishy and pissed off the camp food organisers no end ....but oh so much warmer!

We created and we bitched, we had over twenty lovely ladies in attendance. We didn't even go out to the resort for a night out....dedicated much!!
No husbands, children or housework. Food at regular intervals without the cooking and cleaning. All there was to do was to sew, eat and sleep.....heaven.

One of these things is not like the other....

Amazing the things you find on camp....I pity the fool who doesn't want one of these....

There was conversations of "Frocktober", Tea Cosy Swaps, weekend S&B sessions...but talk of starting a local handmade/arts market that excited me the most. I can't wait for our weekly S and B for more  plotting  planning .

Jacky tried to pip me (last meets reining champion) on the most insane (inane?) thing bought at a garage sale (15 bucks including the bird, she literally bought someones pet???) and who could bring the most stuff along to camp..the jury is still out with the verdict...could be a close call...

Part duo of this blog post  will be about the projects, stay tuned.....
