Best ever yarn lover sites

It a bit wet her today...ok ok its soaking. But this is the time of year that makes for sitting inside and getting the yarns choice is the hooking variety. I'm not much of a knitter, i did a little when i was younger, but i love the freedom of the hook. To me it seems to be a lot more flexible than the needles.

The internet can be a great resource for finding free patterns, it can also be very frustrating. I thought i would share with you some of my favorite pattern sites to help part the clouds on finding that right pattern.

Ravelry - On online community with free patterns and also a Facey type photo sharing system to get some feed back on your work. You do have to sign up to begin with but after that its easy peasey site to navigate. Good for both knit and crochet.

Lion Brand Yarn - Massive load of free patterns. Good for both knit and crochet...i have found many patterns on here. Warning- you could spend hours here.

Stitch Diva - Funky Yarn site. Very few are free. The ones i have bought off here have been great though. It is also very helpful if you are attempting Tunison or Hair pin lace. I have also bought some of their wooden hooks and looms as a treat and they are wonderful to work with.

Don't forget to sign up to the Tea cosy swap. Click on the Tea cosy tab above...i know you want to..mmm swappy love.
