My Creative Space

This week i have been busy sewing for US!
I am sticking to my guns and i am going to focus on home projects for a little while. As i now work almost full time i don't get much shopping time...well none. Which is fine but i haven't had new clothes for like...ever!!! Unfortunately the little girl misses out on purchases as well. I order certain things online for her, like tights, but i don't like the clothing offered online much...except for the handmade stuff of course.
So i went to spotty on Friday night and got us some new patterns.
From the weekend Miss G scored a flowing top and some new thick shorts.

I managed to finish (just) a dress for myself. It was a huge pattern to follow and regretfully i really want to make another one in a more casual fabric.
I scored the fabric off spooties bargain table for 6 bucks a metre. I cant wait to find an occasion to wear it.

I love its deep pockets too.

This sewing for myself thing may soon come to an end as i am looking into hosting a makers market at my Art centre at the Bloomin' Tulips festival. Still....the next Stich n Bitch weekend is coming up in October....i am so excited i think a bit of wee just came out. If your in Tassie that weekend we would love you to join in the fun and meet some new people. Too many projects...not enough time.

Hope you got time to be creative this week xo.
