The New and the Old - Hobart

In Hobart i become fascinated with the stones cut by convicts. They are everywhere. They are incorporated in to new buildings and left on the old. One thing Hobart does is melt the old and the new together in a style that becomes very quirky Tasmanian.
I love seeing the marks left by the hand of the creater. still on the stone 200 years later.

You find stone in at the end of the table your eating at and on the sides of buildings.

This part of the fence is the only section left of the original and i adore these letter boxes.

Accessories i would love to have around my house and i conic buildings sitting in the middle of a busy junction in the road.

Bulidings that keep to the time in which they were created and designed, with modern backgrounds leaking into the space and creating new city scapes.

I do love thee Hobart. Thanks for having me again, and thank you for the lovely weather.
