My Creative Space

This week i finished some P'j's for the little pink one. She now has four pairs of flanny bottoms and two pairs of green cords which i will post up later (in the wash when i wanted to take their pic's today).
So now the Little G and the Big M have the same jammies and will be cool (or warm) all winter.

Ooooo look what i am doing...a blog swap with aprons as the subject.
I have been communication with my swap buddy and the brief came back as "the more fifties house wife the better" with a slight off centre twist.
I already had a few ideas and should never have googled them cause now i have too many ideas.
I was going to make one with neck ties included in the design but really wanted to try my hand at making frills for the first time.

I dont want to spoil the surprise for my swap partner so i wont show you the final product till it is shipped off, so you may have to use your imagination.
This picture shows my fabric choices and a rough sketch. I have already started the sewing and will hopefully be finished the apron before next week...but i do have a big weekend planned so it probably wont.
Stay tuned for the final product. Should be delicious.
